The pre-selection phase of the XXIII Italian Astronomy Championships will take place on 18 December 2024 starting at 11 a.m. simultaneously for all participating schools. The IAPS is the regional headquarters for Lazio and actively participates through a Regional Committee that deals with the pre-selection phase, the preparation of students, teaching and the inter-regional competition, and also contributes to the national final competition and participation in the international championships.
The dossier for the pre-selection phase of the XXIII edition of the Italian Astronomy Championships is extracted from the first and second issues of the magazine Universi, the INAF's six-monthly popular science magazine that recounts the extraordinary beauty of the universe.
Only registered students will be able to participate in the pre-selection phase on 18 December.
The reference teacher will be able to register his or her school on the Italian Astronomy Championships website from 19 November to 12 December 2024.
The contact teachers of the registered schools will be able to register the students who will participate in the Pre-selection Phase from 19 November to 14 December 2024.
