IAPS participates to COSPAR (COmmittee on Space Research).

Please read this page for more details.

IAPS participates in Europlanet with the implementation of an IDIS node, a website calledSmall Bodies and Dust Node. The goal of this website is to provide access to selected lists of researchers, laboratories and data archives relevant on these scientific topics.

ITASEL is an IAPS/IRA joint project in the field of Bioastronomy, financed by the Italian Space Agency (ASI). Its main purpose is the development of new challenging spectral radio technologies to be applied to the Medicina and to other powerful radiotelescopes in order to detect water and life bearing molecules in comets and (exo)planetary systems. The new instruments should be also used for the Italian participation in the international SETI programme.
