The International Venus Workshop will be held in Catania and hosted at the

Museo Diocesano
Via Etnea, 8 - 95124 Catania

The museum is located in the heart of hold Catania in the ancient Seminario dei Chierici an historical building joined architecturally to the Cathedral.

The museum is dedicated for the most part to the cult of St. Agatha, patron saint of Catania. Most of the artworks consist of vestments, altar furnishings, and relics from the bishops' palace.

Two halls are dedicated to host events.

  • The Pinacoteca
Can guest until 150 people.

It is provided with air conditioning, 2.00 X 2.25 meters screen and pa system
  • Polifunzionale hall
Can guest until 70 people.

It is provided with air conditioning, 2.00 X 2.00 meters screen, wi-fi, and  pa system

How to get the Museum from the airport

  • By Bus from Fontanarossa airport

Outside the airport terminal (arrival level) there are two AMT (nicknamed Alibus) bus stops.

ATM line 524, operates every 40 minutes, from 5:40 am to 10:00 pm from the Airport to P.zza Borsellino Stop (close to Museum)

AMT line 457 runs every 20 minutes, from 5.30 am to midnight, from the Airport to the City Centre.

Inside the new airport terminal there is an automatic ticket machine close to the information office (Ticket price is 1.00).

  • By Taxi

Taxis are available at any time outside the airport. The cost ranges from 25 to 35 according to the place to reach.
